Mills Mill Village Project

MetroConnects is excited to begin its critical infrastructure improvement project in the Mills Mill Village area! Metro teams will be replacing/relocating approximately 13,085 linear feet of gravity sewer lines and 79 manholes in the area to correct the existing structural defects of the more than 100 year old system. The project will also rehabilitate approximately 1,506 linear feet of existing sewer lines and seven existing manholes.

Crews will work diligently Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., excluding holidays. Every effort will be made to minimize disruption to home owners and to complete the work quickly. The contractor will notify residents through door hangers or other means at least one week prior to performing work in the four different zone areas (see the zone map below for details). Work is set to begin in Zone 1 late April or early May.

Below is a map of the areas split into 4 sections.

The following streets have permits for road closures (in no certain order). Exact dates for closures are based on construction progress and will be released when available.

  1. Lady Street
  2. Moore Street

  4. Spring Street
  5. Beacon Street
  6. Reeves Street
