Upcoming Events

We are beginning to break ground on projects throughout Greenville’s Mill Village areas to address the critical sewer infrastructure needs. These areas are currently served by sewer systems dating back over a century, with aging clay pipes far surpassing their intended lifespan. The initiative aims to enhance both the quality of life and service standards throughout these communities. We’re kicking off these projects with events such as ribbon cuttings and ground breaking ceremonies.

Mills Mill Ribbon Cutting

We’re excited to announce the official start of the Mills Mill sewer infrastructure project. We hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony on April 26th to celebrate breaking ground. This project is made possible by funding allocated from the federal American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 and managed by the South Carolina Infrastructure Investment Program (SCIIP). The $10 million Community Impact SCIIP Grant is dedicated to addressing the sewer infrastructure needs in the Mills Mill Village, aiming to replace and rehabilitate aging systems that pose risks to public health and the environment.
